Wellbeing
आनन्द
Bliss is not constant excitement. It is the quiet joy that appears when we are at ease within ourselves, present to life and less caught in resistance.
Instead of searching for a separate time to feel joyful, practice brings full attention to ordinary activity. Eating, walking, listening and serving all become part of it.
When attention moves from the result to the experience, ordinary moments begin to feel lighter.
Satsang, music and shared practice release the pressure of doing everything alone. In a shared rhythm, practice becomes easier and more joyful.
Bliss is not something to grasp. We create enough openness in body, mind and relationship for it to arise.
Experience
These are individual experiences. Results vary from person to person.
The easy joy I found in music, service and sharing meals is my most beautiful memory of the camp.
